Nite Jewel - One Second Of Love

If you haven't noticed from my playlists and mixes...I am a huge Nite Jewel fan.  Her new album, One Second of Love, is fantastic and the video for her title track just came out last week and the video does not disappoint. Check it out below!

Father John Misty - Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings

This is one of the best music videos I've seen in a long time.  It makes me like the song even more than I already do.  Will definitely be playing this song on my show today on kxsc.org from 12-1pm PST.

Hold Tight...

Surprise, surprise, there is going to be a one or two day delay in the "August" mix.  But I'd rather give you a good mix than a haphazard one.  In the meantime, does any one else get a Laura Palmer vibe from this video?

(and yes, I do realize that this video was made a couple years before she even existed)

Pretty

Of all the iamwhoiami videos, the latest one, n, is my favorite. It's bizarre, beautiful, confusing, even a little disturbing... and I cannot stop watching it.  I love the anonymity of the whole series, and although it has become a sort of guessing game on various blogs as to who exactly iamwhoiami is, instead I like to focus on the beauty of the videos/songs themselves, which push musical and visual boundaries as they progress.
